I recently got a new kitten, Shrimp, who I'm currently trying to keep alive and healthy because she's so young. (Was found dodging traffic
)

She can be anywhere in my apartment, and the instant I put on some Paul Oakenfold on my computer's 5.1surround, she hauls tale up the stairs and will either jump on the subwoofer and relax, or she'll jump in the lap. Either way, her tale flips back and forth in sync with the beat. I've actually tried other DJs and its not the same...

i think the its the vibrations of it... she hasn't really shown any reason for me to think she's got a hearing problem. I actually was once the exact same way. To help myself sleep while in college I'd just crank up some really deep atmospheric trance, or drum&bass techno... the dorms had solid tile floors and really thin mattresses, so the vibrations would literally go up through the bed and relax me...
