We adopted Stella last Thanksgiving weekend. Several weeks ago she started peeing on the dog bed in the family room. I immediately took her to the vet to eliminate any possible medical issue and she of course was fine. We have two other cats and 2 litter boxes, which are cleaned at least once a day. I use non-scented scoopable litter. There's nothing to indicate that she's peeing anywhere else in the house and she's using the box to poop.
The dog bed is the Kirkland brand from Costco and is filled with stuffing and cedar bark; I'm wondering if there's something in the cedar that's attracting her. I've replaced the first bed she peed on last month; however she's peed again on the new bed. So before I buy another bed, is it possible that she's attracted to the smell of the cedar? Thanx
