Well then, I guess we'll either have to stop using them completely or figure out a way to keep the kits out of the clean laundry.

The way I see it, just breathing the air outside is harmful to all of us, yet we keep on doing it. I personally refuse to be an alarmist.

Dryer sheets remove static. I lightly, LIGHTLY brush the already used in my laundry one across my kitties. I do not wet it, nor do I rub it into their skin, and I DON'T let them chew on it or eat it.

I'll let you know if my kitties ever have a dryer-sheet related problem. In the meantime, I'm going to use what works for me in the very dry northeast US.
