Spot in my cats ear

Hi I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on what this might be going on in my cats ear. I just noticed it and can’t get him into the vet until next week.

Hi. Sorry no one has responded yet to your post. I have no idea what that is - not even sure what I am looking at, tbh. I know you said you can't get him into the vet until next week, but would they accept a pic just to see if they might have an idea of what that is, before the vet visit?

How does that compare with the other ear, in terms of looks? Does he go outside? Maybe has some sort of 'bug' in his ear? Is he scratching at it?

Could it be dry skin? Is it that white patch youre talking about or is that just the picture?
