Before I start let me say that I'm pro spay/neuter and this is just out of curiosity.
The dog breeder community seems to have come across studies that show that we (owners and vets) are spaying our dogs too early and it has cause stunted growth in some dogs because of the loss of hormones.
I'm wondering if there is any studies out there saying the same about cats. I am aware that cats mature quicker than dogs and females come into heat around 4 months.
