So Sorry for your loss and so sudden I am dealing with the same issue when Gracie past, her mate she grew up with for the 1st week was always waiting on her and looking around for her so we carried him all over and gave him tons of hugs and love which seemed to help, but I can still catch him at certain times waiting on her to show up..  Do your best and remember your other kitty needs extra loving and support

Thanks, and I always will remember Merlin and his needs. He is my baby. IT really broke my heart to see Merlin looking for Sotches, and you could tell he misses him still. The new cat is wonderful and it does help heal the loss.
