I've been trying to hold back on my rant but I feel if I don't write it out I'll explode!
OK, some of you may remember the situation I wrote about in December concerning my niece and nephew and their (can't use the word I want to here) father. Here is that thread, if you want to check it out that way I can keep this post as short as possible.
My niece has finally had enough of her father trying to control her and she's afraid he won't let her come home again because he was telling her he wanted to take her to W. Virginia to look at houses this weekend. She told him on the phone last week in no uncertain terms that she did not want to see him anymore and that she would not willingly go with him this weekend.
So what does he do instead of respecting her wishes or try to be understanding and let her have a cool down period...he calls the police on her...a 14 year old girl...last night they show up and after some discussion still say she has to go with him even though he basically kidnapped them both before.
She didn't put up a fuss with the police or anything but they still had 4 big policemen surround this skinny five foot three girl and take her out to his car
All the while she was crying
Well she's not going through this quietly, because about an hour after they left her father calls my sister (not the mom, but she lives here as well and will be getting temp. custody if all goes well) where my niece got such a foul mouth...my niece never uses foul language but once she got shoved into the car with him she started freaking and screaming and cussing him out....she called later on when they got to his house and said she could't help herself and she barely remembers what she said, but she felt better for having said it
Now my worry is how he's treating her and if he will actually bring her home tomorrow...and what negative effects this will have on my niece because since she's been living here for the past almost 2 months she's finally getting back to her old self and she said it seems like she's just waking up from a bad dream she's been going through for the past few years.
If you made it this far, thanks for listening!
