Sorry, I do not know what to call them.
First off, Kizzy has had ringworm. It was located on a good portion of his tail.
Secondly, we are going to the vet in 2wks and I will ask them the following question then. IMO it is not a serious prob as I've seen no ill effects.
Petting him, I have felt these "bumps", I had looked at em previously and thought they were just scabs from fighting with the cats he used to live with.
I no longer think that's the case.
They are almost like a pimple in shape/size, with a slight crust on top (looks similiar to a scab but lighter coloured crust). No oozing or anything like that, and Kizzy is not scratching at them, there's fur growing around and on them... I don't know what it could be. But I've noticed there is more than just a couple.... located on his back and neck (I haven't noticed any on his belly or paws).
They are hard to notice because he has thick Ragdoll fur. So if you just give a light stroke of his back, you wouldn't feel them....but if you're giving a scratch, you feel them.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what they may be????
