Back in December, my cat got a scab on his nose. Not on the nose leather, right above that, in the area that has very short hairs. Very small--maybe slightly bigger than a pin head. Sometimes the scab would come off, and underneath would be a little raw spot, moist with a little clear fluid, until it scabbed back up again (similar to if us humans pick or knock a scab off too soon). It never seemed to bother him, I don't think he a clue it was there. It finally healed completely after maybe a month or so. At the time, I figured his nose got scratched playing with my other cat, and it took so long to heal because he kept knocking the scab off. Now, 4 months later, it's back, slightly above where the last one was. He is black, indoor only, and just turned a year old, so I really don't think it's cancer (plus the fact that it did heal before). I have battled ringworm before, and I don't think it's that either. I've looked at pics of other skin conditions and none of them look right. He actually did go to the vet while he had it last time, but for something else--I didn't mention it because it wasn't that bad and I really didn't think about it, and the vet didn't mention it at all. Any ideas as to what this might be? I would try to take pics, but I doubt it'd show up-- it doesn't really stand out against the black, especially when it's scabbed.
