well, it's not particularly about my town, but Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders is from Akron (where I work at least) and there's the song "My City Was Gone" that mentions Ohio, and the Cuyahoga River. Also Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young did a song "4 Dead in Ohio" about the Kent State shootings
