Hi, my cat is pregnant and there is something hanging from her vaginal area. I wasn’t expecting her to give birth for another week.

I’m not 100% sure exactly when she got pregnant.
Could it be a kitten?

It’s definitely not a baby!

Is the blob all the way out yet or not? How is your cat acting?
The blob is still there. She is acting normal now. Eating, walking around and being affectionate. The blob seems to be getting smaller.

It’s probably embryonic tissue that did not develop. Can you snip it off where the sac is hanging? Do not pull on anything. Then just keep a close eye on her.

She had 4. No they don’t live in the house. They are barn cats that have accesses to our heat and a/c office. Her and her sister usually sleep in the office. That’s why it took me forever to find her.

I'm guessing what you saw was part of the mucous plug that pregnant mammals expel before birth. In women, it's commonly called 'a bloody show'.

Please be sure the mom cat is well fed with both wet and dry food while nursing, and that the bedding for the kittens is clean. Will you be getting mom spayed after this litter?

She moved her kittens into the office this morning. The office always has food and water in it.

I snapped this picture right before she moved them inside.

They are adorable!!, how cute. Do you have a picture of mom? Once you get them all inside "the office" will they then stay inside, where it is safe?

Yes, the kittens will stay inside till Princess feels likes it’s time to start adventuring around property. This is Princess right after I found her yesterday.
