Can you put "NO HUNTING ALLOWED" signs at the back of you're property? Or ask whomever is behind you to do so? Maybe that would help keep hunters out of that area. You have a right to be scared, that's a very dangerous situation, someone could have been standing there and got shot. I hope everything works out for the best.
Hunters are not supposed to go into private gardens, but they do sometimes, and I wasn't here when it happened. But hte gendarmes think they were shooting from the forest, on the hill opposite, though why they should have been aiming at the house from there I cannot think. The journalist who came on Friday thought it all very bizarre and said she would make her own enquiries and interviews with the police and the hunt organisation. So we will see what happens.
