I went to feed Tyler just now and found his good eye with a swirl of blood in it. I don't see any color change in the rest of the eye, so hopefully it's not uveitis (which we went through with his other eye, along with a bleed into that eye, he has maybe 30% vision left in that eye). However, I don't want it to be due to a blood pressure spike either - he's already on norvasc twice a day for his bp.
I'll be calling in the am for an emergency apt. with our vet
ps for those that don't know him, Tyler is my great-grandson of the very first American Curl - Shulamith. His 18th birthday is coming up and he's been doing well despite early crf, history of spilling glucose in his urine, hyperthyroidism and benign liver tumors.
