I want another (not any time soon!!) Eric and I plan to get married next spring or summer and we (really just me, but
) are thinking maybe later next year we can have another. I really want a baby girl, but Eric's family has a pattern. You have to have 3 boys to get a girl.
I am ok with 4 but Eric only wants 2.

So who does he look more like Mommy or Daddy? I think he is a good mix of both of us. I think he has my face and chin, but that is defiantly Daddy's nose. I will try and see if I can get Eric's baby picture up here its so funny they are almost identical.
I wanted 3, but had 2.... Unfortunately one of the many meds I'm on, I cannot be without it, and it is not pregnancy friendly
At the time I tried to get off that one, my youngest was 4 (I didn't want to have them too far apart). I couldn't get off them without ending up not being a mom to the family I already have. But, I couldn't make the 100% decision at that time. It took a preg scare in early 2007 for me to make the decision to have my tubes tied. Honestly, at this point in my life, my girls are 13 and 9... as much as I want or would have loved a 3rd (I wanted a son LOL) there's too much of an age gap. So I live through others.

2 is a good number

I think Jaiden looks like you. Especially in the brow area and chin. He does have some of dad in his looks too, but I see alot of you. I love the little chubbster. He's a beauty, and please, feel free to "torture" us with pics any time you wish....

Do you have any nicknames for him? I used to call my linebacker (Kayleigh) "Chunky butt"... I know, not nice....but her bum was probally what I imagine Jaidens would be.... She was 11lbs at birth, and breastfed too... ate like a horse but my lactation specialist explained in the beginning she had to eat so much more than "average" sized babies to stay on her growth curve. Does Jaiden nurse alot too?

Jaiden has a cottage cheese butt. It is so funny! I call him chunk or chunky monkey. He nurses quite a bit! At first he wanted to nurse every 2hrs. I mean EVERY 2 hours. I was a zombie for weeks! Plus with all the bleeding I did (I hemorrhaged the day after he was born and it took 45min for a nurse to respond to my call) I was white as a ghost
Eric would tease and call me the walking dead
Now he nurses at 6am 9am 11am 2pm 4pm 6pm 9pm and then goes to bed. So about ever 2-3 hours but he sleep from like 9:30-6 then goes back to bed and sleeps until 9
(he does not really nap just a 10-20min cat nap here and there). If he is going through a growth spurt he just nurses and sleeps all day. Thank goodness for the boppy!!! I can surf the net or something while he nurses through a growth spurt. I know that sounds awful, but growth spurts are rough with him because he just wants to nurse ALL day

wow, thanks for bringing back memories.... You sound like me almost 9yrs ago. Kayleigh was permanently attached to me....She'd feed for 30mins, not eat for 90mins, then feed for 30..... It was sooooooo hard.... Growth spurts were worse. (I was a single mom of 2 at the time) I mastered the art of sleeping/eating/reading/computer/living while nursing really fast.

My ma always told me I shouldn't call her chunky butt or chubbs LOL... I did quit when she got to be about 10mos tho.... it was hard to quit tho LMAO, she still have a chubby bum.

My mom says the same thing! I can't help it he is chunky! People tell me that I spoil him because I don't let him cry
I don't believe that babies cry for no reason. If he starts to cry I pick him up and figure out what the issues is. And guess what! He like never cires any more!
We went to a party a few weeks ago and the hosts have a 1 year old and were like wow you are so lucky he does not cry!! Their son cries all the time and won't sleep. We did create the bad habit of letting him sleep with us, but that was just at first when he was nursing ALL the time and it was just SOOO nice to whip it out latch him on and go back to sleep. He sleeps in his crib just find now. Oh and I am also a bad mom because I cover him up with a blanket. Apparently that is a no no.

Yah, I didn't mind Kayleigh sleeping with me (but then it was just me, and my other daughter, so I didn't want Kayleigh waking her up all night so for the most part she slept with me).... I swear, sometimes I was sleeping when I latched her on LOL.... She had no huge probs adjusting to a crib.....

Oh you are a horrible mom...a blanket? And not letting him cry it out if there's something you can fix? geeez woman. LOL....

Believe it or not. I had another mother scold me because I cover him up with a blanket! She told me "one day he will suffocate and die if you don't stop covering him up" I was SOOOO angry. Needless to say I don't talk to her any more. I don't know how I could NOT cover him up. It gets too cold here!!

Wow! The handsome genes are definitely passed down
! Jaiden is a beautiful baby and looks like he has the perfect, loving family, everything a growing boy could ask for
! I especially love
your descriptions of each picture, perfect captions
