For some reason won't let me post any more pictures other the others kitties :/ I keep trying... gemgem is doing great she such a good mother I keep on checking on them as often as I can but when she sees me she starts purring very loud lays on her back and then closes her eyes and she starts to shake her back legs and her front paw like trembling? Is this after pains or is there more kitties? She hardly touched her food or drink this morning but she has used her litter tray to wee nothing else
It's most likely afterpains, unless she has one more in there. The afterpains can come on and off for a day or two. But cats do need time to settle down a bit after delivering. Offer her some wet food and water in her nest. She needs nourishment if she'll take it. My cat drank 3 dishes of KMR in her nest afterwards!
