Socrates just landed. He was tired from his flight, so he's resting in the shed. He's staying in the shed; I don't think he'll be allowed outside. He will be an indoor-only gargoyle.

He needs to be cleaned a little more; there's styrofoam all over him.

18"W x 17"D x 23½"H. 15 pounds. So he's almost two feet tall. He came in two pieces; his wings are separate. And very fragile.
I have wanted him for years. I love the pensiveness of the look in his eyes. And his wings are simply gorgeous. I dearly love gargoyles.
If you go to his page at Design Toscano, I didn't pay that much for him. He was on sale when I bought him. But Socrates is one of their more popular items and he's usually on backorder because he sells out quickly.
