I think they will drop that trade distance thing. When you have cross country or international friends it doesn't make sense. To get a regional exclusive I'd still have to travel to the region.

Gift drop rate seems to be about 30% of spins, right now at least

I will probably be giftless until tomorrow afternoon. I did 25 raids and am over my item limit by 170 items right now. Need to clean bags, clean pokemon and go find some stops to restock gifts with. Right now I am waiting in vain for the sun to set so it isn't 105 out there.

I used to play regularly when it first came out but I think I deleted the app some time in late 2016. I did see adds for the latest version which made me think that I'd quite like to get back catching 'em all again!

They are going to tie it into the new Switch game coming out in November too.

The whole friend and trading aspect is very much version 1 right now. With how they've developed the rest of the game I see them making changes and upgrade to it for the next year. They've been pretty good about adjusting to feedback with the whole raiding system and gym structuring.

Now if only you could change your team. I like Instinct but my niece is Mystic so gym battles with her are a pain. We take it down together but I either have to give up getting coins on it or not let her.

I can't wait for Let's Go Pickachu on the Switch! I have been DYYYYIINGGG for a new pokemon game and I'm going to have to wait until 2019 for a real core game. So this will have to do to satisfy me until then.

Oh! With all the xp boosts I went up an entire level on the Articunos raid day. I had made 33 on Friday and by 4pm Saturday I was 34.

I thought the same thing, but apparently you cant evolve your starter and I think Pikachu is stronger than eevee and plus I have so many eevees than i can transfer over and evolve them. Apparently you connect to the pokemon go app and can transfer pokemon. That will make filling the pokedex a piece of cake! Which i admit ive only ever done twice. Once on the old gameboy game and then on the latest alola game.

Yeah, the lack of evolving the starter is annoying. That's a good point on the Pikachu being stronger. I'd be tempted but I have three other people who will be playing and two adore Eevee.

I am a little nervous about transferring but my Pokemon and how that will work.
