Me too! Actually, mine was corned beef and cabbage. Since my schedule won't allow me to make it next week, we made it an early St. Patty's dinner.

I've got a veal stew in the oven.
Now I just have to decide what to serve with it, probably salad and definitely some red wine!

Rupunzel47 - your meals always sounds so delicious!

I'm going to try for a baked potato, steak and a salad. I tried yesterday but by the time the potato was baked I was too tired so I took the potato with me to bed and ate it and fell asleep!

We do eat pretty well. It helps that I love to cook, and DH is a willing guinea pig -- not picky at all -- and appreciative of the most basic fare. I really feel for people who enjoy cooking but have fussy eaters to deal with -- it really destroys the incentive -- I've seen it happen.

I just made some black bean and tomato baked tacos. I'm eating them with a few dashes of tobasco sauce!

I made elk steak, mashed potatos, gravy and steamed broccoli. Very yummy!
I want to thank my BIL (Fred Nugent, as I call him )for sharing the elk!

I had a raspberry jelly filled donut.
I ate my lunch (tunafish) way too late so I had dessert for dinner.
I can't get enough of chicken either I have it almost every day.

I picked up a nice striploin steak yesterday when grocery shopping so tonight it's going to be pan-fried steak with mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Baked potato and steamed asparagus with garlic butter.

I was feeling under the weather last night, so never had the roast beef. Maybe tonight.

Well, I think tonight will be the chili that didn't happen the other day. I'm almost out of bread so I need to stop on the way home to restock. I'll pick up something interesting to go with the chili that will be nice for lunches, too.

Last night I had pastrami, cottage cheese, mushrooms, onions, tomato and avocado on a panini! It was so good.

Not sure what will be for tea tonight might be those eggs I talked about yesterday!

We didn't have any lunches today, so while hub was doing some cleaning, he fired up the pit and slow-smoked some ribs, boston butts and chickens today. We're having the ribs for dinner, yay!
