I would look around for whoever might have been moving or doing laundry.

I see boxes full of clothes strewn along the highway all the time, so the above is not a bad bet.

However, maybe some teen guy in the area had a great evening. Or maybe someone lost some of their clothes on the way home from the pool.

OK, this really made me laugh

! Since I live in NYC, I have seen a lot of bras and other things, some I would never touch, in my path to work or outside my building. But if I lived in the suburbs and had a driveway, I would throw it away as any other garbage may be found there........Maybe check around the area first to make sure it wasn't something left in a trail of evidence form a crime first......

Well the decision was made for me. The bra disappeared just as mysteriously as it showed up.

Perhaps the owner came back for it.

I would have just tossed it in the trash, no need to fear cooties.

You touch far worse on the books from the library and any dvds you check out. I've seen dvds soaking in cat urine and with feces on them (sometimes animal, sometimes human). So driveway bra would have been fairly safe.
