He definitely jumped, but being that it was fairly dark in the bathroom, I'm not entirely sure he knew there was water in the tub...or at least that it was that deep!

Mulder loves water, so he jumped in the shower with me once and immediately jumped back out soaking wet... I just tossed a towel on top of him and then dried him off after I got done myself. I guess I'm not as good a cat slave as you!
