Zuki, my neutered 8yr old Tonkinese has suddenly decided that he can't go an hour without trying to "LOVE" my stomach. He's funny because he will scratch and claw to work my shirt up so he can knead and lick my bare stomach. I'll give him credit, he's very persistant because when I push him away he makes these horrible sounds at me and he's right back on. After about the third time of me pushing him away he gets angry with me and usually bites me or yells at me again before he jumps off.
Sadly, almost three years ago Zuki was diagnosed with CRF, and it's been pretty rough for him these past few months. To cut down on stress and make him more comfortable, fluids are now done by me at home. Zuki has always been a very affectionate, friendly kitty, but lately he has been more aggressive than he has ever been. He seems to want to hide and be by himself more than he normally would want to be.
Is there anyone who could tell me if maybe his behavior is due to his disease, or if he is punishing me for being the one who hurts him sometimes when I do his fluids? Could it be territorial? affection?
Thanks
