Hi there,

Just found this forum and hope to learn a lot, my son is moving back home for a while with Skooby, a 3 year old stray he adopted from the Humane Society.

We have a small dog and he and Skooby have met, Skooby is not afraid and my dog runs away so looking for pointers on how to cope when son and Skooby move in so everyone is ok.

Hi, welcome to TCS!  It's very nice to meet you.  I don't know much about dog and cat relations, but with a non-aggressive dog like yours, I think the situation will probably work out in time as they adjust to each other.  My cat, Redman, and dog, Bo, became the best of friends.  They have both long since crossed the Bridge, but I will never forget how much they loved to play together.
