This is what they had to say:
"We acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness, Which we, from time to time, most grievously have committed, by thought, word and deed, Against thy Divine Majesty, Provoking most justly thy wrath and indignation against us. We do earnestly repent, And are heartily sorry for these misdoings."

I agree, Susan. I also thought Camilla's gown was lovely - just right for the occasion.Originally Posted by rosiemac

Susie thats normal for the Queen not to show any expression, thats how royalty from a young age are told to compose themselves, just like Dianas funeral where no one shed any tears, even her sons?!.
Well i hope they live happily ever after as they say in fairy stories because he certainly seemed happier than what he did at his first wedding
Actually, there's quite a bit of speculation that Diana cheated on Charles first (with the bodyguard who died in an accident), so maybe karma caught up with her? That might sound harsh, but I didn't buy her "poor me" act. Maybe she'd read too many of her step-grandmother's books and was all starry-eyed about becoming a princess, but she herself said she knew he loved Camilla before the wedding, and went ahead with it nevertheless. She certainly rarely missed an opportunity to put him in a poor light.Originally Posted by Sashacat
I think that after what they did to Diana, whether she was hard to handle or not, that some shadow of spirit will always be with them in this marriage. They will need to work hard to turn that kind of karma around. I hope they can. The person who they really need to apologize to isn't around to hear it. Maybe the Church can send a Memo up to heaven.
