Awwww - Simba Yim is so cuteOriginally Posted by aprilyim
When we first adopted him, that was my mom's number one condition!
That if this "newcomer cat of yours harms my plants or my fish he's going back to the shelter!"
I think Simba must have heard her or something...
And of course now almost 8 months later, Simba has broken one plant pot and ate some budding shoots... there was no way he's ever going back to the shelter.
To my surprise, he does leave 99% of the plants alone... and we have a great many.
(We are growing cat grass for him so now he leaves the new buds alone.)
Oh and he recently saved the life of a pleco fish who jumped out of the tank!
Simba jumped to investigate it when he heard the noise (to which we were completely unaware.)
He did not touch the fish. He just looked at it flop around and we were able to put it back into the tank and save it!He's the Yimpartment Guardian.
He's also no longer "my cat" but "her third child!"
Of course that's the way it is!Originally Posted by Calvin&I

I totally see him becoming "her third child" since anyone would want to claim him
When I mock complain to DH about the boys doing something - I always say "your boys" and when I praise them, they are always "my babies"
Thank you!Originally Posted by Momto4kitties
