I would have signed up for a language course instead of something to do with economics. Languages come in really handy and can give you an edge when it comes to job hunting.

Thanks Bryan! Publishable? Good show!
I was on the Power of the Pen team in middle school, so I'm hoping some of that comes back to me!

Unfortunately language is not part of the business program and my company would definitely not pay for that. I used to want to be certified bi-lingual in Spanish, but that was when I wanted to be a teacher
I took 3 years in High school

The reason I'm going back to school is not so much to get a job, more to cure the atrophy of the brain I seem to have lately. Nothing like getting those cells firing again
This is more to get my degree so that when I reach 30 years with my current company I can go back to work doing something that I actually want to- counseling kids or even teaching. I'll only be 52 when I retire so I figure I got a good 20 years of work left in me

I was also an English major at one time..lol..than I switched to Computer Science. Then I graduated and never used my degree past my first year as an entry level programmer. If you need help with the English class, I would be glad to help out any way I could.

I always liked English so I am looking forward to that at least! If there's anything I can do it's write
It's been a long time (I graduated from college in 1979), but I believe at least one economics course was a GER, although I majored in foreign languages. Microeconomics fulfilled the requirement, and macroeconomics was just an elective, but I really enjoyed it, and believe that I read the business section of the newspaper simply because of that course. I hadn't planned on teaching translating German to English business news at that time.
