Usually with my queens I notice them a bit more anxious then normal. If they are in labor, the kittens will move like crazy right before a contraction, then the contraction will come and the momma cat will get up or turn over to try and get comfortable. If your cats doing that, check the sides of her belly and see if a lump rises up, stays for a few seconds and then goes away-if you see that, it is a contraction. Sometimes it's easier to detect if you keep your hand on her side to feel the contraction.Originally Posted by joeman11
