Siezure-Like episodes???

I have an older female cat and lately she has been going through moments of falling over and panting/gasping for breathe.

It is a terrible thing to see her go through this, and the vet costs too much money to try to fix.

I'm not sure what to do or what is causing these episodes.

Is she just getting old or has she become diabetic?

This is an emergency situation and your cat needs veterinary care. You can't let the fact that a veterinarian costs money keep you from providing the necessary medical care your cat requires to prevent pain and suffering. Your vet may be able to work how a payment plan for you but PLEASE take your cat to the clinic right away.
