Oh gosh, I just saw the news....how terribly sad, I am so very sorry and so saddened for you.

I have to agree with your vet, there was something much more going on my dear. Maybe FIP. Which explains his death, there is nothing you can do for FIP other than try to make them comfortable before it's time.....

RIP Gold Kitty. We're all sad for your having to leave your friend.

I am so sorry Gold Kitty didn't make it!! You did your best, so don't beat yourself up over this. The vet is right, something else could have been going on. You made him comfortable, and he knew he was loved. That's wonderful . I'm glad he had you for these few years. RIP Gold Kitty.
