Sorry, I must have missed the part about the foot infection. I'm glad that she's getting the supplements. That's very important. The antibiotics could very well be why she isn't interested in eating on her own. I know when my girls are on antibiotics, it really makes them nauseous, and they slow way down on eating. If she doesn't start to eat on her own soon, you really will need to address that issue. The last thing you need is for her to develop hepatic lipidosis from not eating. See if your vet carries Hills a/d canned food. When my Angel kitty, Spooky, went into hepatic lipidosis, I syringe fed Hills a/d to her...she absolutely loved it! It's very high calorie, and probably would do wonders for Bobber.Originally Posted by kittiekitten
She did get supplements before I left. I think they are really hoping that she eats on her own, since there has been twice that she has ate a little on her own. They tried to get me to feed her, but she just wanted to sleep and i didnt want to push it. I was going to try later, but then she got restless and they put her in the cage for the nite.
They put her on antibiotics bc her foot was punctured and got infected (think that is how this all started). I rushed her in on Friday to the only vet that could see her. They cleaned out the infection and put her on antibiotics on Friday. Saturday is when she was really off and I had her seen Saturday night. As of now they have her foot wrapped up but so it can drain and she can't mess with it.
