My neighbor, a lonely older guy, came by for a visit last night while his wife was out. He knows I have cats, but doesn't usually show much interest in them, or vice versa. Of course, they all went into hiding when he rang the doorbell, but Miss Nosypants Gracie soon ventured out. As soon as he saw her Jim asked, "What's that one's name?" I said, "That's Gracie." Jim, who's a little hard of hearing, said, "Crazy? What kind of name is that for cat?" I had to repeat her name several times for him to realize it's not Crazy. After thinking about it, I realized the name Crazy does kind of suit her.
So, does anybody think I should change Gracie's name?
