Ever since I miscarried in March my periods have been kind of weird. Most have come like clockwork (ie, 28 days give or take) but I had one that started 10 days after my last one ended. Now, this month, I started spotting only 5 days after the last one. This went on for about a week, and now it's a full blown "time of the month" complete with cramps, tiredness, etc.
I'm calling first thing Monday morning and schedule an exam. The thing is my doctor did not order a D&C after my miscarriage. I thought a D&C was pretty standard but he said since it was so early in my pregnancy and my blood levels dropped so fast it wasn't necessary. Now I'm wondering if that wasn't a mistake.
I'm also wondering if I've progressed to endometriosis. I had a problem similar about 12 years ago and I had the beginnings of it, but that's supposed to be really painful and I really haven't had worse cramps then usual.
It just worries me because my mom had this happen and she didn't get it check out for over a year. Turns out it was caused by cervical cancer. She passed away 14 months after she was diagnosed.
Any experience or thoughts on this?
