I have some kitty recipes for you! (in case you run out of the replacement powder!) These are VERY good recipes(and ingredients!) to have, on hand, if you have a sick kitty at home! >^..^<
**Kitten Milk**
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon Karo or Maple Syrup
1 teaspoon Brewer's Yeast
1/2 teaspoon Baby Vitamins
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 can Evaporated Milk
2 Tablespoons Plain Yogurt
--Heat Evaporated Milk to a boil. Add egg yolk and remaining ingredients, Whisk well. Refrigerate and re-warm portions, as needed. (In an emergency situation, you can get by with no Brewer's Yeast or Baby Vitamins, if you don't have them, but add them in as soon as you are able!)
**Kitty Pudding**
12 ounces of water
1 envelope of Knox Gelatin (plain)
1 can Evaporated Milk
2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Plain Yogurt
1-2 teaspoons Karo Syrup or Maple Syrup
--Boil Water, add gelatin. Stir well. Add remaining ingredients and whisk together. Cool. (Will turn into pudding-like consistency as it cools).
**Pedialyte**
1 cup water
2 teaspoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
--Combine all ingredients and warm slightly.
(No preservatives, so short "shelf life"!)
I do hope your kitties ALL do well, and that Mommy gets better really soon!
actualizing on Colin's state
well she lost her titty it fell of yesterday. Now I am cleaning her with betadaine twice a day like the veterinary told me and giving her twice a day a antibiotic he gave me too. I bring her once in a while with the kittens because she crys a lot for seeing them (and they do too) but I watch her because the vet indicated they cant be with each other.
But the kittens are doing great right know theya are all over me (one in my lap, another one climbing my pants and the other two chewing my shoes!!!)
Really thanks for all your prayers and advice we all love you allot.
A soon as she heals ill have her neutered. The kittens are a bit craving for milk (especially one) But i mix them a recipe up, even though the vet told me they were ok. And the momma just crazy to feed them and clean them all up,
