I don't know how many read my post in Cat Health, but Portia was throwing up food and clear liquid all day yesterday... couldn't keep anything down, had zero appetite. When she didn't eat this morning, I called the vet. They gave her Sub-Q fluids and a couple of meds. Told me to give her some OTC acid reducer (it'll be 1/4 tablet, once I find the pill pockets I JUST saw) and feed her chicken baby food for a few days... Uhh...
I guess her appetite is back and she's going back to normal (we'll see if she holds the food down). She inhaled the jar of baby food, and was trying to trip me with every step I took trying to get to the kitchen.
She's trying to kill me. Seriously!
*squeak*trip*squeak*trip*squeak*
Someone remind me to never have a place with stairs while I have her in my life.
She did manage to charm the whole staff there today. Everyone just thought she was absolutely adorable! She is. She knows it, too.
I did notice, since we were in a space with MUCH better lighting and more natural light than my place, that she does have a lot more light orange on her (dilute tortie). On her back legs especially. I'll have to get some good shots of her.
