Hey guys. Update! The kittens are growing up steadily. They're getting stronger by day and eating more.

But like quick question, when does their eyes open? I mean it's only been 8 days but I thought their eyes would have opened in about a week (?)

Everything else is fine. The momma and the last born are healthy. The mom is a bit attached to me though  At times she would just suddenly jump on my lap when I was finishing up my assignment.

And sometimes she would snuggle up with me on the couch while I was watching the tv :catrub: I'm like so worried I won't be able to give her up once I found a good foster :(

Anyways! Back to the kittens :geekcat: so like how long does it actually take for them to open their eyes?

Some kittens' eyes take 14 days to open.

Is mom feeding all her babies now?

Mom sounds like she's bonding with you! :catrub:

Mom is not feeding all her babies sadly :( I've been feeding them every 2 - 3 hours now. When I have classes, my neighbour took charge. I've tried my very best to make the mom feed the other kittens but since the 'leg bite' incident, I just seperated them.

Are you also helping the kittens to pee and poop?
Yep. I stimulate their lower regions after feeding. One of them is already able to pee by himself ♡

Oh my! It's a big job for a few weeks, but thank you for hand-rearing them.

Not all cats are good moms, unfortunately. Mom cat can be spayed any time now since she's not feeding the kittens.
