Sheets and cats

Thanks for the tip about linen sheets - I was just getting ready to order some and stopped by here to find out if they attract cat hair-I hate being tickled by fur at night, unless it is attached to Pooka, Raven, or Pyewacket!

I have the same issue as you, my cat thinks it's playtime when I put new sheets on the bed. He always knows and comes running. I have a few holes in my sheets too. Paying now doesn't seem to make a difference. I have a Ralph Lauren set, a bamboo set, microfiber and 100% Cotton sheets.
Like someone else said, cheep is the way to go. At least I wouldn't feel as bad for having holes in a cheap set rather than an expensive one, even though they're not as luxurious.
If anyone knows of a particular brand that is cat claw proof, please let me know.

I took this picture of Tophel (rhymes with waffle) because he wouldn't leave the bed when we first got the linen sheets.
