I had a cat once that used to SLEEP on top of doors. Go figure!
I have more than one tall cat tree in my house. Since I got them, the cats are much more likely to climb onto them than on other things in my house. I also have eliminated all open shelves from my life. Even my bookcases are enclosed and heaven forbid that I have nicknacks out in the open!
