The Chilli floof intensifies!
Wow! What a strikingly beautiful cat!I finally got a better picture (or 2).
Thanks! It's hard to believe that 3 months ago she was a severely underweight, flea and tick infested stray. Sometimes I think Piper is too cutesy for her sophisticated personality... she's pretty sure she's royalty and should have been named Catherine or Victoria or Margaret.Wow! What a strikingly beautiful cat!
Leonid is gorgeous, Boris Diamond . How big is he?Leonid is 2 1/2 years old and this is the first winter his mane has come in this nicely. He is getting to be a real fluff ball!

It's amazing what a difference that some loving care can make! And are you sure she isn't royalty? Thanks! Thank-you! Leonid is almost 15 pounds. Since the larger breeds don't fully mature until they are 5, he will probably add another pound or three. Still wants to be a lap cat! How can I say no to his resplendent fluffiness?Leonid is gorgeous, Boris Diamond . How big is he?
It takes a while for their manes to grow in properly. My long haired cats didn't get their manes until they were about 2 years old, they grow back thicker every year. I guess Fluffy is going to have a splendid mane when he's older. My kitten Fluffy doesn’t have a mane but definitely got a thicker fur now.
Fluffy is a beautiful cat! What kind of cats are these? Domestic longhairs or Maine Coons? They are so beautiful!!!
Btw are their manes seasonal?

Oh wow!!! Stunning!Fluffy is a beautiful cat!
Leonid is a Siberian. His mane started growing when the weather started getting colder this year. I assume that it will shrink when the weather gets warmer, but since this is the first time he has had a mane like this, I'm not sure how much it will shrink. He may have a nice mane come summer, too.
Here is a picture of some farmer owned Siberians in Russia. They live outdoors and some of their manes are fantastic!

Here is a link to that farmer's page. Someone posted this on TCS years ago. I would like to give that person a shout out, but I can't remember who it was.
Siberian farmer's cats become an unexpected Internet sensation
