Sex My Long Hair Kitten

So long story short I took in an orphaned 8 week old kitten. I was told its female but it's long hair tabby and there is a gap between the anus and the urinary opening. I cannot tell for the life of me if it was sexed correctly or not

The first picture gives the best look of the distance but this furr is allover the place.

I think it was sexed wrong. This definitely looks male to me. The urinary opening/vulva would be a lot closer to the anus if it was a female. The gap in between the urinary opening and the anus that you are referring to is where the kittens scrotum will be.

I am all up in this poor babys business hopefully these help too. And that's totally what I was thinking my only confusion is you usually see like a dark area where the balls drop so I got confused.

The pics are fuzzy (and so is he, haha!), but, yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a boy. He's a cutie!
