All of my boys are heavy enough that you couldn't miss them - the addition of 10lbs + of weight isn't subtle.

Sort of in the same vein, Mom and I were in the van on our way for a weekend trip when I reached between the seats for my purse (to hand to Mom) and found a cat head. Luckily we were only a couple of miles from home when we discovered our stowaway.

Big heavy purses are bad for your neck and upper back.

It seems that surprises are what cats do best.
I've had toys end up in other random places - jacket hood or inside my jeans leg, for example. And DH has had to remove Tomas from his lunch box a few times before heading out to work.
