I've noticed in the past month or so Mozart has taken to peeing in the corner outside where his litter box is, he's about 7months now and is in perfect health (as per his most recent check-up)
I've tried different litters, and he seems to have no preference. I have noticed however that he will dig in the box then climb out completely and pee on the floor, there is no missing happening as he is about 2.5 feet away from the box.
I clean his litter on a frequent basis as its kept quite close to my main living area, yet still nice and private for him.
I've used cleaners every time I see he's made a mess, and it seems to prevent the next puddle for about a day.
One thing I've noticed is he doesn't behave like this when I'm home, I always come home to this mess. Is this a possible anxiety issue could he be getting lonely? He doesn't seem to be spraying as its a puddle, and always in the same spot....
*EDIT*
I should clarify and mention that the vet suggested a bigger box, which he now has as recommended yet the issue is still present.
