I've never had this issue with the Wonner before, but we just bought a really nice executive's leather swivel desk chair. it's walnut and leather - we got it at a good price at a liquidation sale. Anyway it's just really nice. Now, my old fabric desk chair, Wonton used to scratch on, and I never really bothered to tell him not to, cos it was an old crappy chair...and yes, of course I'm paying for that now, becuase in his little kitty mind, he's thinking well - I got to claw the old chair, why not the new one? Which is entirely reasonable but - I need to teach him not to do this now. So... I need help. He has a scratching post/cat tree made otu of carpet-covered wood, but the carpet at the base where he scratches is all gone - he needs a new one, which I'll be buying in the next couple weeks. But is there something I can spray on the chair, which won't hurt the wood or the leather, but'll make him not want to go near it to scratch?
