I don't understand the pull with cardboard scratchers, they complete get disintegrated & then you have little clumps to clean up. At least mine did. And they didn't last long at all, a few weeks before they were completely shredded.

The pull being that the cat wrecks that and not the furniture!

With my ex, I had bought these and gave Minou some boxes. The men in the house said they were tired of sweeping up cardboard. So I let them throw them away (live and learn) and within a few days Minou had caused over $200 in damages to electronics. They decided they liked sweeping up cardboard after that 🤣

Cats do eat live prey in nature and have to pull it apart to eat, so it's normal that they might have an urge to destroy some things. 🐱

All I know is, Cordelia looooves her cardboard scratcher and is leaving our furniture alone!
