Has anyone seen this? I saw it in the theater when it first came out all those years ago. I decided my boyfriend and I should watch it yesterday when I was shocked to find out my boyfriend thought the war was only 2 years and only 300,000 – 400,000 people were killed. I was further shocked when I mentioned to my co-workers they should see this movie and way too many of them thought the same thing.
The area I live I am pretty sure I am one of like 5 Jews LOL ok maybe an exaggeration… but not far from it. Every time I talk about being Jewish people always ask a hundred questions, like they have never met a Jewish person before lol.
Anyway, I just wanted to write that I would recommend it if your looking for a good film that will effect your heart. We watch it last night and I forgot how well made this movie was. My boyfriend was fascinated by it and kept talking about what an amazing story it was and asked over and over if it was really real.
Yes, it was real. Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a heroic story, its sad, its blunt, its horrifying, its so many things in one.
Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s one of those forgotten films and I thought I would just give a little reminder of what a great film it is and how important it is to keep these horrific things that have happened in history alive so it never happens again.
