So lately Midnight is obsessed with cables. Me being a technophile even beyond my IT job, that means there's a hell of a lot of them around.

She paws at them, tries to eat them and when there's nothing better to do she licks and tries to munch of the corners of my laptop.

She also figured how to open the fridge, and nowadays when she's hungry she steals the packs of food from the box and brings them to me.

I don't know whether to be happy she's so smart or scared

:lol3: I know that feeling! Are you using cord protectors? They're really worthwhile getting if you have a cat that chews on cords. You should also be able to get a child-proof lock for the fridge. We have one for the freezer, because our last cat used to open it all the time. We've also got locks on the kitchen cabinets because Mogli opens them (and steals food). My sister had a huge rubber belt from a moving company around her fridge when she had a cat that not only opened it, but got inside and pushed the food out so the dogs could eat it. :lol3:
