Hi! My name is Kaylee. I'm 20 and my roommate and I became 'moms' to a kitten about 2 months ago. The guy who had the kittens was going to bring them to the humane society if they didn't find homes and a little orange and white one was the only one left. Her and I ended up going out a few towns over and picking him up and what greeted us was a very stocky kitten. We were told that this kitten was a girl so she got the name Daffodil. Well... about 2 weeks later after much debate, we came to the understanding that Daffodil is just a Dill.
Dill always was a bit 'bigger'. He was kind of stocky. Very playful, very outgoing, but NOT independent. He is a sucker who needs to be with people ALL the time so when we leave him alone to go to work... he destroys the apartment and enjoys biting us when we come home and rip roaring through the place from boredom. However, he doesn't like other animals so we can't even get him a playmate.
This was Dill when we first got him at around 7 or 8 weeks old.
And this was him about a month ago, passed out while watching the Aristocats, from a long play session.
Dill has facebook and is a hit with pretty much ANYONE he meets. He even was invited to and took part in a costume party (and before anyone jumps down my throat, he wore the costume for 10 minutes, it's a Build a Bear Outfit) and he wasn't harmed. He walked around like there was nothing happening and just wanted his chin and ears rubbed. He's not dressed up daily, this was the first and only time this has happened (however, he may get to take part in a Halloween party if he'll be as willing to dress up in a few months )
Dill trained himself to use the washroom in the toilet (we didn't train him... he just started).
Dill is approx 4 months and 2 weeks old and weighs in at almost 7lbs. He just got neutered 2 weeks ago and the vet was astonished by how large he is for a basic domestic short-hair.
Dill would like to say hello but he's busy eating his second bowl of kibble and his other half of canned food so he won't be able to do so for a little bit
