Today Samwise met a couple of our grandchildren for the first time. They wore him out! As the sun went down, so did Samwise. He may wake up next week.
Since he had to go to the vet this morning for his annual shots we took the sock off yesterday for him to play with the grandkids.Originally Posted by Hell603

One of the many interesting attributes of the Turkish Van cat is that their tails have an independent life of their own. Even when they are sound asleep the tail will continue wiggling and jumping around. In order to get a good sleep they have to either lie on their tail or put a leg over it. Sometimes they get quite upset at their tail. Miss Kitty, by the way, thinks that Samwise's tail is the best toy in the house.Originally Posted by Creepyowl
Love that tail!!!!
So I've noticed that though I seriously doubt Kuce is a Turkish Van but she has a close pattern to it. And her tail never seems to stop moving when she sleeps.Originally Posted by James Brown

Kuce is absolutely adorable, and after studying her charming photos we cannot help but suspect that somewhere in her family tree there may have been an indiscretion with a Turkish Van. The coloration pattern is almost a dead giveaway - not only the tail, but she has the distinguishing spot on her lower body known in Turkey as "the mark of Allah." We have attached a photo which we lifted from her website which shows the spot vividly.Originally Posted by greycat2

Pass on much attention to both Samwise and Miss Kitty.
