Sam is limping

Sam had tick fever about a month and a half ago. He recovered, but had a small relapse about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have noticed him limping on his right front leg on and off. Mostly it's when he has been asleep on the couch for a long time. It's like that leg gets stiff. He doesn't do it every day. I think I have noticed him limping a little 4 different times. I feel all over, but can't find anything or where the pain is coming from. Could he have arthritis or something like that?
