"Sad Lamp"

I recently bought myself one of those Sad Lamps because I live in the Pacific Northwest and we lack "light" in our lives and I have such a problem getting started in the mornings!

Well, guess what?  My 2 felines piled onto my chest and enjoyed the Sad Lamp very much!!  I was wondering if cats also suffer from "Sadd" just like humans do?   I know that my 2 always seek out the brightest window to lounge in and now with this new Sad lamp and their enjoyment of it made me think!

I don't have a Sadd lamp but I do have a full sized tanning bed in my home, and every time I use it, my cat gets really interested! I don't know how good UV is for cats so I always lock her out of the room. Maybe they like the warmth or something? (Not sure if sadd lamps even give off warmth)... Who knows!

I think my Kindle Fire puts out as much as the SADD lamp!
