My baby Joey is getting neutered today. He is not happy. He hates carriers, car rides, and strangers. Poor baby!! I dropped him off this morning. He cried and tried to claw out of the carrier the whole drive. I opened the carrier while we were waiting at the place, and he purred like crazy while i petted him. The vet said he is adorable, and so soft...which he is! I love him, and I love when people love him!
He looked so tragic and sad when I left him in the big cages at the vet. I get to call in a few minutes to see how he is and when he will be ready for pickup.
Hopefully soon!!
Billy is walking around the house cooing, crying and checking EVERYWHERE for Joey. He doesn't know why he can't find him. He laid by the carrier when Joey was in it. I asked the clinic (low cost spay/neuter/vacc) if they have experience with blind kitties and they recommended I go home and get Billy and bring him back to be neutered with Joey so he isn't too scared, but we couldn't afford it today. Billy actually is less afraid of people, he just gets confused easily. He gets along well with the new stray we brought in, so once he is old enough to get fixed we think that we will take them at the same time.
Below is a picture of Joey, in his carrier, looking so sad. I kept putting my finger into the cage and he was rubbing against it and licking me.
