Hi everyone
Its been quite some time since I last posted (long story!) but I am back and I was hoping that any of you kind kitty lovers to offer me some advise.
Pepsi has just had her second Urinary tract Infection. The first one was very scary as she was taken in by the vet after I saw blood in the litter tray and saw that she was trying to poo but nothing was happening. She was such a sick little girl that we nearly lost her. 3 months later and some what wiser I managed to catch it earlier and she is getting better again.
The vet suggested a new diet which I have followed, they both now eat "ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Dietâ„¢ Feline URINARY SOâ„¢ 30 (dry)"
Have to say that arent so impressed but are eating it as they arent getting anything else.
My questions are to those of you who's kitties have the same problems.
Is there any other alternative? Do you find the food works? Is this food forever? Would it harm them having the ocassional tin of fresh tuna or some chicken? Any words of wisdom are much appreciated.
Thank you X
